2025 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Performance

The 2025 Corvette Z06 has a unique 5.5-liter flat-plane crank V8 that produces 670 horsepower and 460 pounds of torque and makes a heart-pounding roar while doing it. The 2025 Z06 can run the 0-60 MPH sprint in just 2.6 seconds. 

Of course, engine specs and acceleration are essential for any sports car, but the 2025 Corvette’s performance goes beyond the engine. The 2025 Z06 is available with a carbon aero package for maximum downforce, and Chevrolet offers adaptive magnetic suspension upgrades for all models.  

Up front, the suspension starts with a short/long arm double wishbone architecture, supported by forged aluminum upper and cast aluminum L-shape lower control arms. Monotube shock absorbers complete the set-up. An adjustable front lift with memory is available. In the rear is another set of short/long arm double wishbones with forged aluminum upper and cast aluminum L-shape lower control arms. In addition, a direct-acting stabilizer bar and monotube shock absorbers finish the set-up. Selective Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 with specific calibration is available with the Z07 package.  

Variable-ratio rack-and-pinion with electric power assist is also standard. It also includes Active Steer Stops with available Magnetic Ride Control 4.0. Front and rear E-boost-assisted discs with Brembo four-piston/two-piece front calipers and four-piston/monobloc rear calipers help stop the 2025 Corvette Stingray. Adding the Z07 package will include Brembo four-piston monobloc calipers, both front and rear. 

Exterior

The move to a mid-engine layout for the 2025 Corvette brought new opportunities from a styling and design standpoint. Chevrolet morphed the 2025 Corvette’s long, sleek body into a new, equally impressive shape that features a low hood and muscular rear end to house the roaring V8 powertrains.  

The 2025 Z06 features widebody designs with gaping air intakes and beefy rear fenders. A carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler, and diffuser keep the Z06 planted. It also gets 20/21-inch wheels. 

Interior

The 2025 Corvette retained its iconic two-seat layout with the move to mid-engine, and its interior is easily one of the nicest in Chevrolet’s lineup. A unique flat top/bottom steering wheel highlights the tech-packed cabin, which offers two deep, heavily bolstered sport seats. Chevrolet offers a range of color options. The large plank of buttons remains mounted between the driver and passenger, and all controls and buttons are canted toward the driver for a more focused experience.   

Technology

The 2025 Corvette Z06 comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen and 12-inch digital gauge cluster. The system also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio, HD radio, ten speakers, and more. Higher trims add navigation, wireless phone charging, and an upgraded 14-speaker stereo.  

The infotainment screen is a responsive unit with bright, crisp graphics. Snappy operation aside, Chevrolet’s infotainment software is intuitive and quick to use, making driving less distracting. 

Safety and Driver Assistance

Neither the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) nor the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have tested the 2025 Corvette Z06 yet, either due to its newness on the market or because the costs associated with crashing sports cars are too great. It comes standard with a rear parking assistance system, and Chevrolet offers a range of advanced driver aids standard. 

Standard features include Rear Park Assist, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam auto high beams, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Rear Camera Mirror and Head-Up Display, and HD Rear Vision Camera. On 2LZ and 3LZ models, you also get standard HD Front and Rear Vision Cameras with front curb view, Rear Camera Mirror, Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
