Blazer EV Now Available To Order

Up until now, if you wanted an EV from Chevrolet, you had to go small. Small as in the sub-compact Bolt and the slightly larger Bolt EUV. Coming very soon, you could also go big with the Silverado EV. These are fine vehicles but leave out many people who prefer something between the upper and lower ends of the vehicle size spectrum. Twin Falls Chevrolet announces that this has changed as you can now order a Blazer EV, a vehicle in a category that has “Midsize” in its name.

The Blazer EV is a crossover that is about the size of the normal gas-powered Blazer, but make no mistake, this is an entirely different car with its own exterior styling, interior, and drivetrain. Customers who raised their hand to reserve the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV have started receiving emails from General Motors with a link that allows them to configure and order their model.
The Blazer EV RS eAWD models are the first to be built and are now being delivered to customers. The RS AWD has a starting MSRP of $60,215, which does not take into account the $7,500 federal tax credit for which it qualifies.

The following models to be produced will be the rear-wheel drive RS and the 2LT, which is the base model for the Blazer EV. Availability for the range-topping SS is expected in the spring of 2024.

Originally, a 1LT model had been planned as the base model. Still, Chevrolet announced they were dropping that model last July, leaving the $56,715 (including destination charge) 2LT as your entry point to the Blazer EV, again not including the federal tax credit. The Blazer EV 2LT is exceptionally well equipped as evidenced by these standard features highlights:
- 17.7-inch center touchscreen
- 11-inch Driver Info Center
- Heated front seats, steering wheel, and side mirrors
- Wireless phone charging
- Adaptive cruise control
- 360-degree camera

With an 85kWh battery, the 2LT with AWD is expected to have 279 miles of range. Stepping up to the RS AWD gets you the same range but adds the following:
- Redesigned black grille
- 21-inch wheels
- Flat-bottom steering wheel
- Ventilated front seats
- Heated rear seats
- Rain sensing wipers
- Head-up display
- Rear Camera Mirror
Level 2 charging for both models is up to 11.5 kW which can fully charge in 9.5 hours. Level 3 DC-direct charging will accept up to 150 kW, adding about 100 miles in 20 minutes. If the Blazer EV looks like it may fit into your life, contact Twin Falls Chevrolet about pre-ordering one for yourself.
