Chevrolet Blazer EV Ownership Six Months Later
What is it like to own the new Chevrolet Blazer EV? How has it been since you took delivery of one? For many owners, it takes six months to know that they bought or leased the right vehicle. This six-month timeframe covers the break-in period and sometimes the first visit to the service department. It’s that time when you make a few adjustments to make sure you’re comfortable every time you get into the vehicle and that everything works for you.
InsideEVs.com has been running a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV LT AWD for six months now and recently recapped how it has been enjoying the new EV SUV. One of the highlights of the editors’ time with the Blazer EV was a 1,200-mile road trip between San Diego and Utah. They loaded up the SUV with camping gear and all of the things needed for the outdoors, finding they could take everything on the camping trip without leaving anything behind or needing a trailer.

While camping in Utah, InsideEVs.com’s editors reported that they also slept in the Blazer EV during those nights. The two travelers were each about five-foot seven-inches tall. Two people can camp in the back of the Blazer EV because of the cargo space available. There is a maximum of 59.1 cubic feet with the rear seats down. Another advantage is that the rear seats fold down flat with the cargo floor, making for a good sleeping area.
When venturing out to a camping spot, some surfaces may be uneven or in bad condition. The Blazer EV offers a 7.9-inch ground clearance to help clear obstacles that may pop up out of nowhere. Combined with the mix of cargo and passenger space for four adults, the Blazer EV may be the right vehicle for those of us who have active lifestyles and enjoy the great outdoors—especially up in the Rockies.
With every road trip, you need to be entertained and pointed in the right direction. InsideEVs.com’s editors found the new Google Built-in infotainment system to “rock.” By logging into their Google account, they didn’t have to worry about tethering a smartphone device (and risking interruptions or connection drops) to get directions, make calls, and play back their Spotify playlists.
When you’re considering a road trip, you can use Google Maps to find the nearest charging station to keep your Blazer EV on the road. There are now over 231,800 chargers available to you. You can always use the MyChevrolet app to find the nearest charger for your road trip, too.
These are some of the reasons to consider the Blazer EV for your next electric SUV. Twin Falls Chevrolet can show you many more reasons to check out this innovative vehicle. Contact us for a good look at a 2024 or 2025 Blazer EV. Don’t forget to drop us a hello six months after taking yours home.
