​Chevrolet Corvette Is Once Again A Car and Driver 10Best​

It came as no surprise that the Chevrolet Corvette has returned to Car and Driver magazine’s 10Best Car list for 2025. This is the Corvette’s 25th appearance on this list.     

In naming America’s Sports Car on the 2025 10Best Cars list, this is what Car and Driver has to say:     

“[The Corvette is] a remarkable value for a car that masterfully blends multiple personalities. Flog it at the track on Saturday, then cruise to church in it on Sunday. Why only drive it when the weather’s warm? Mount some winter tires and drive it year-round. It won’t care.” 

This year, the Corvette is offered in four configurations. The Stingray remains the gateway to enjoying the charms of its mid-engined performance and driving dynamics. The Z06 adds more excitement with racing-tuned engineering that is accessible for all drivers.  

The E-Ray adds a new dimension to the Corvette story—a hybrid, all-wheel drive system made for performance and efficiency simultaneously. David Beard of the Car and Driver staff added this thought on the Corvette E-Ray: “Old-school Vette dudes shouldn’t scoff at this hybrid. It’s got that smooth growl from quiet to violent.” 

New for 2025 is the highly anticipated ZR1. The numbers are beyond remarkable – with 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque. It was also timed for a top speed of 233 MPH and can achieve a 0-60 MPH time of up to 2.3 seconds. In all, this is the most powerful and fastest Corvette ever built on a production line.
