The 2025 Blazer EV SS is a dual motor electric vehicle, delivering 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. This power is accessed through the Wide Open Watts drive mode, enabling maximum performance from the 2025 Blazer EV SS’s driveline. You can also throw it into “Competitive Mode,” which The Drive described as it “backs off on the stability control, allowing you to throw them around corners without their SUV brains thinking you’ve gone all Bad Boys.”  

Chevrolet said that the 2025 Blazer EV SS can go from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds (when Wide Open Watts is enabled). The Drive observed that “the acceleration timer engages automatically when you activate launch control, which you can do in any of the Blazer EV’s drive modes—with or without the Wide Open Watts. That’s the extra feature you have to activate to unlock all of the Chevy’s 615 [horsepower].” It is estimated by the Environmental Protection Agency that the 2025 Blazer EV SS has a range of 303 miles, “fueled” by a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack.  

How does it drive overall? The Drive stated that the “[Blazer EV] SS is meant to be the sort of daily driver you can enjoy a bit more viscerally within the constraints of your commute. Want to take the curvy road home? The Blazer’s game. Need to get out ahead of traffic at the light to make your turn? You’ve got all the power in the world. And critically, it does all of this without making a scene. Thanks to the ridiculously precise throttle control offered by its electric powertrain, you can rip off launch-control starts all day long without any outward drama.” 

The 2025 Blazer EV SS also delivers on the things you care about the most. The 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen is driven by Google Built-in. You can use Google Assistant to help you with directions, vehicle functions, and much more. You can also add more apps through the Google Store. The 2025 Blazer EV SS comes with Super Cruise standard, offering hands-free driver assistance technology to manage highway driving on miles of compatible roads.
