Trax & Corvette Winners of ALG Residual Value Awards
Mid-November brought out the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards, which predicts the resale value of US-sold models. Among the 28 vehicle categories, Twin Falls Chevrolet is proud to announce that Chevrolet had two winners, and they couldn’t be more different. ALG recognized the Trax sub-compact SUV and the Corvette hypersports car as having the best resale value in their respective segments.
The U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards are the automotive industry standard in recognizing the vehicle models projected to hold the highest percentage of their manufacturer’s suggested retail price following a three-year period of ownership. Originally a tool to assist manufacturers and financiers in determining model residual value in setting up leases, the figures are also relevant in predicting general resale value. The high resale value underscores a manufacturer’s success in the areas of long-term quality and design, as well as the overall desirability of automotive brands and their models.
The All-New Trax Makes Its Mark
The 2024 Trax was completely redesigned featuring aggressive styling, a new and more upscale interior, more technology and safety features, and a fresh turbocharged 1.2-liter Inline-3 drivetrain. Even with a starting MSRP of $20,400, it includes desirable features such as Chevy Safety Assist, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility and offers an available 11-inch display screen. As a sub-compact SUV, the Trax’s expected resale value beats out such established models as the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Hyundai Kona.

The Corvette Keeps Doing What it Does Best
The Corvette needs no introduction except to say that it has always been a foil for high-priced imports from Germany, England, and Italy, matching or beating them in performance at a fraction of their prices. The mid-engine C8 takes both the performance and value to another level with an available 0 to 60 time of under 3 seconds, deft high-performance handling, not to mention an exciting and upscale interior, and a starting MSRP of $68,300.

Twin Falls Chevrolet celebrates both of these ALG winners and wishes to remind you that if your desires fall toward either of these diverse classes of vehicles, you will find them here.
