• 2025 Suburban (3.0-liter I6): 7,800 pounds  
• 2025 Silverado 1500 (3.0-liter I6): up to 13,300 pounds   
• 2025 Silverado 2500HD (6.6-liter V8): up to 22,070 pounds  
• 2025 Silverado 3500HD (6.6-liter V8): up to 31,580 pounds   

The two Duramax diesel engines stand out when it comes to payload. Here is a rundown of the maximum payloads for Silverado pickup trucks equipped with the Duramax diesel: 

• 2025 Silverado 1500 (3.0-liter I6): up to 1,970 pounds  
• 2025 Silverado 2500HD (6.6-liter V8): up to 3,508 pounds
